Helping Amateurs Help Others
Purposes of EC Resources, LTD.
To support and facilitate emergency, disaster, and public service related communication systems and services. Provided by Amateur Radio Operators through the Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) and the Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (RACES), to government agencies, the general public and private disaster relief organizations.
This means EC Resources was formed to
provide equipment, systems, and services which can be used by ARES and RACES
organizations and their members to provide assistance to public and private
disaster relief organizations. Examples of these organizations are local
County Emergency Management, the Red Cross, the National Weather Service, local
hospitals, etc. Equipment and systems provided at this time include:

A two-meter VHF
repeater system serving
·
A portable
70-centimeter UHF repeater for emergency use
·
A Mobile
Communications Center (MCC) for emergency and other remote operations
Corporate & Private Donations Needed
Many companies have donation and grant programs in which they will make monetary donations to the organization of an employee's choice. Some require the organization make a request directly to them. In either case, let us know and we will work with you in securing the donation or grant. EC Resources, LTD. is a 501 (c)(3) organization, as defined by the Internal Revenue Service, and can provide a tax benefit for donations. Of course, private donations of money and/or equipment are always welcome. All donations (monetary or equipment) are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
